A well done up and Happy place. Dr Mini with the support of her staff and ever  smiling Amee, take keen interest in ensuring that Sahabhaav delivers what it promises – a place where care and well being of elders in the family is of utmost importance. We are at peace that Sahabhaav is an extension of our home and even when we are away – everything that we would do for our elders is being taken care of by the efficient team. Best wishes.

My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2010. I was warned by doctors that she would lose her memory completely, and would be dependent on me for all her daily activities as her sickness advances. As the years progressed, I had to brush her teeth, help her in the toilet and even give her bath. Servants and other help from various agencies would not last very long due to the nature of the sickness. This started taking a toll on me. I was lucky to find Sahabhaav Elderly Care Home, who agreed to take her in and look after her. It was a very painful decision, but I decided to try it out. The facility is designed for 14 residents who are looked after by staff and nurses who are well trained and extremely courteous. It is air conditioned and designed with modern amenities. Residents have access to wifi, Amazon prime & Netflix on a big screen TV, and various other facilities. Group activities like yoga are also organized for senior citizens. Doctors visit the facility regularly to check the residents. Dr. Mini, the founder is a gem of a person. Anybody who is seriously look for a state of the art elderly care facility for their loved ones should definitely consider Sahabhaav. You will not find a better home for your loved ones in Mumbai at their prices. I highly recommend them.

I evaluated Sahabhaav, as my one of my friends abroad was looking for an old age home for his parents. The place is well located and is a great set up overall. It is very different from the old age homes that I have seen. The place is clean, well lit up and richly furnished like an upscale resort. The facilities are great and what makes the place special is the people that take care of the inmates like Dr.Mini Panickar, Ami Shah and their team.
They do activities during festivals and Ganapati Bapa was set up when i went there. The delicacies made for the occasion were mouth watering while keeping in mind the clientele they cater too. I am really impressed by the concept and the work that is being done by the team.
Keep up the great work.

I feel like five stars is not enough to rate Dr. Mini, Amee and their teams at Sahabhaav. I need about 10 of them! The way they looked after my
late mother and took care of her was legendary. I live in the US and was looking for a place in Mumbai that could look after my parents as I
was away. I can honestly say that the standards of care at Sahabhaav rival anything in the US, but keep the care and love of an Indian family
so it’s the best of all worlds. Everyone at Sahabhaav is and always will be part of our extended family.

My dad had a paralytic stroke which rendered him completely immobile and incommunicable about 10 months ago. While looking for a place which could take care of him, i stumbled upon Sahabhaav purely by happenstance. I went and checked the place out, which was then quite new. But just going there and interacting with Dr Minnie and Amee, made me instinctively realize that this would be a good home to provide palliative care for my dad . I made the decision to move my dad here . And my instinct was proved right. From providing a clean, comfortable, airy, hygienic and optimistic space, to ensuring that my dad was provided care by empathetic and humane care givers, to escalating cases to the right medical practitioners , Sahabhaav,
ensured that my dads last 9 months were as comfortable and compassionate as possible. Two specific incidents come to mind. 1. When they celebrated my dads birthday with gusto and fervor. And Secondly the exemplary care that Team Sahabhaav gave my dad and their other residents during the lockdown. I could go on, but all i would say is that Sahabhaav is a good home for your loved parent. It is a house built with love, care, competence and humanity I would strongly recommend Sahabhaav.

A concept like this is WELL PRICED !
I’ve never seen a parent smile so very much on their monthly outing they are taken out here at Sahabhaav. It brought me to tears just trying to read their expressions coming out of those picture books of memories of past golden oldies (Goldies) screaming from the walls they are adorn with!
Some kith have rented out the now vacant premises of their goldies thereby earning a handsome rental income to supplement costs. Today the most budget hotel with granite flooring in Mumbai comes at a minimum cost of Rs 3,000 per night ! …. That too no food !!
I have seen doctors visit with regular follow ups as though each case is THEIR own !
Kudos Team Sahabhaav Cheers to Doctor Mini and Ms Amee Shah and Kausar and Shobha mavshi. Together they ROCK!

The vibes when you enter Sahabhaav radiate a sense of belongingness.Care is the most beautiful word which makes life richer and you can experience every bit of it at Sahabhaav. The professional and well trained staff provide all the attention that elderly seniors need.Prayers in the morning and evening prayer before dinner give an essence of spirituality and tranquility. One may feel that the cost is a little on the expensive side, but its worth every penny and the Sahabhaav team deserves every bit of it to take care of our seniors.Dr Mini and Amee are just par excellence, they leave no stone unturned to make the life of the seniors as comfortable as possible. Our very bestest wishes that they continue to successfully carry out
their noble deeds always!!!!!

Sahabhaav.. togetherness… A place where people live together under a roof, those who cannot help themselves, especially the elders. Of course it’s a paid facility but unlike many other similar establishments, value for money is ensured. What’s more, the person running the place is very much involved personally in its running, and open to suggestion. This open mindedness instils confidence in those committing their kin for care to this institution.
My experience with this place came about when my wife, an ex Mumbai Kar, now settled with me, in Kerala sought out a place for respite care for her sister in law, who after the demise of her husband was doing poorly, and had contracted COVID from where she was being treated for her ailments.
She needed supervised personal care and as there was enough wherewithal to meet day to day expenses, we decided upon Sahabhav, though reputed to be a wee bit more expensive than other similar places. Heartened by the positive demeanour of Dr. Mini who runs Sahabhaav, we took the plunge.
True to her word, the good doctor taking tips from us who are doctors ourselves, and in consultation with local experts, brought our cousin
to a semblance of health, during which time her oedema, and bed sores abated, and she started taking positive interest in life. A fine example of the caretaker’s optimism and positivity flowing into the receiver of care. She’d even gone out of the way to provide certain food items she relished prepared by herself, it’s reported. We also endorse her sincerity in keeping us abreast of her ward’s condition over phone and Whatsapp. And the involvement with which she undertook visits to consultants with the ward, as if that lady were her own relative.
We believe that all there get this 100%,personalized attention, which augurs well for those being taken care of at Sahabhaav, and for the institution itself. As promised, our cousin became fit enough, to travel to Kerala in about 2 months, the arrangements for which were undertaken by
Sahabhaav. What’s more she was sent chaperoned by a trained caretaker which laid all our worry and concern to rest. The icing on the cake was that we also came to share intimacy with Dr. Mini, a Keralite, by coincidence, something which is rare in these times when even intimate relations are becoming more and more commercial.
I think summing up I’d vouch for Sahabhaav a place that gives service value for every dime we spend, and maybe even more than that. I wish, that this oasis remains viable and vibrant under Dr. Mini’s warm personality.

A beautiful home away from home, revolutionising old age home services in India. With beautiful and comfortable rooms, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, a lovely clean kitchen and supportive staff, this place, under the supervision of Dr. Mini works each day towards giving the seniors not just care and nurture, but a better standard of living. This Old Age Home has activities every other day like Fluid Art Therapy Workshops, Yoga Classes and much more to keep them entertained and happy. They encourage volunteer activity and after having spent an afternoon here, I feel happy and content to have brought joy to somebody’s life! I’d pledge you all to go and spend an afternoon or an evening there! Left with feelings of gratitude!

Being overseas and unable to travel to see mum and dad both in their 80s due to Covid 19 along with sudden death of dad was a shock .Came the daunting task of finding some place to have mum safe and sound in care due to many health issues . As we had no relative no family to reach out to . Searching online and doing face time interviews with different care homes was my only options due to peak lockdowns .Spoke to many teams of agescare but mainly it was about package deals or support staff on phone not very convincing or what they had to offer vs what I was looking for mums care . Some insisted they needed a local guardian to take patient in case of hospitalisation is required and we had non.
Some were to far away from Mumbai and another question was who would be able to transport mum alone and settle her in intercity / inter state home / and are they easy to acess. So these had to be ruled out .
I chanced upon Sahabhaav a Premium Geriatric Care for seniors thru a friend and left a message for them to call back as my last hope.I promptly received a call back from Dr Mini Panicker Founder of Sahabhaav and we spoke almost for 30 min at length about what Sahabhaav had to offer and what were mums needs.Dr Mini was the first person out of so many agecare teams I spoke too who asked about mum about her needs and not about package deals!Gut feeling I knew mum would be safe and well cared here ! And here we are 6 months in with ups and down with mum health, many tears and face times I finally made it back home to visit mum and I’m glad mum is her at Sahaabhav. I’ve spent precious days and lots of time with staff and mum and all I can say is all 25 to 30 staff members are like family. All take wonderful care are very gentle and look in to each and every residents need with love . All of the staff know about each and every residents. Perfectly coordinated handover makes managing the needs of the resident a breeze. There’s Aarti and Yoga and games outings where possible and celebrations done with much fanfare . Regular health check medical appointments to hospitalisation if needed are well taken care off .Regular email updates on health and activity updates on whatsapp group ensured family near and afar would be updated regularly . Sahabhaav would not be Sahabhaav and would not be able to uphold its values without their whole team which is Dr Mini Panicker and her pillar of strengths -Dr Sharma their In-house Physician humble and very caring . Coordinators Amee Jasleen Neelam and Kauser. The nurses Varsha Harshda Malini Snehal. Chefs and caretakers team Kanan Sandeep Shobha Latika and Ratna Reshma and Shyamala to name a few . Kuddos to this team well done.I have come back to my family overseas knowing that Sahabhav is more than home for mum .
DR Mini and team Sahabhaav thank you so much for every thing .:)

Sahabhaav is not just an old age facility. It has all the ingredients that go into making of what we would call home. There is lots of love and
care, unconditional support from each and every staff member (if you could call then that) of Sahabhaav. The activities conducted there ensures almost a customized program depending on the like and dislikes of the inmate. Each aspect of living life with dignity is taken care of at Sahabhaav. Wishing team Sahabhaav all the very best and am sure they will keep making a difference in the lives of the elderly renewing the whole meaning of living once again. Congratulations Dr Mini Panicker and Ms Ami Shah for the wonderful management and the proactive activities conceptualised by then.

Sahabhaav is run by a very very dedicated team of people who are humans first and professionals later. The care and effort that is taken by the entire team, and more so in the COVID times is unbeatable. Clean and healthy up keep, meticulously planned meals according to individual needs and medical care support are the winning stars for this care facility. It is the most difficult task that this team has taken up and are tirelessly involved with each person living with them. Patience and a smiling demeanour are the most rare and fine virtues available in this facility. I can vouch for it personally! MORE POWER to you team SAHABHAAV! Please keep up the good work!

We were on the third week with my father-97- but fit except wheelchair bound. We are very happy that we found Sahabhaav run by Dr. Minee and Amee shah, it is classes better then others that we saw till then. Particularly impressed with standard of hygiene and general pristine condition of this recently opened premium care home for seniors with a good size complement of nursing staff as well as care attendants.

Very happy and homely home away from home. The staff under Dr. Mini and Ms. Amee is very nice and helpful. They take very good care and try to keep the inmates happy and busy. We are very happy about the place. Initially we were hesitant to keep our mom away from us but after visiting Sahbhaav we thought we would give it a try. Our Mom is bedridden and needs help with her day to day activities. The staff take very good care of her. All the best Dr. Mini, we are very thankful.

Sahabhaav… is a much-needed, welcome oasis in Mumbai; providing the twin needs of home-from-home environment and professional standards of healthcare and nutrition; for one’s dear, elderly family members. It is run by Dr Mini, herself a medical practitioner with a wholesome experience in hospital care, and her equally able and experienced support staff. We are delighted to have been able to avail of the services of this bright and well-appointed home for my mother-in-law, who has settled in with ease and cheer, undeniably due to the positives brought in by Dr Mini and her team. They manage and monitor her health concerns diligently and respectfully. Apart from the sterling care, there are outdoor picnics and indoor entertainment provided that my mother-in-law looks forward to, participates and thoroughly enjoys. It is also ideally located for easy access, in the very heart of Andheri. Very definitely, highly recommended.

SAHABHAAV as the name suggests denotes coexistence. This noble institution is dedicated to the cause of the geriatric and physically challenged to rejuvenate and to rekindle the spirit of each and everyone to uplift and lead a normal and healthy life. This would not have been possible but for the pioneering efforts and determination of Dr. Mini Panicker who is the founder of Sahabhaav an institution of repute within the heart of Mumbai city. I am highly obliged and grateful to Dr. Mini and the staff of Sahabhaav who took personal care of Mrs. Chandrika Krishna Das my sister-in-law
and whose recovery was remarkable considering her physical fitness and mobility. I express my deep gratitude to Dr. Mini Panicker and the staff of
Sahabhaav for their wholehearted support in an endeavor to revitalize and improve the health of Mrs. Chandrika Das.

True to it’s name , SAHABHAAV , oozes the bhaav as you climb the stairs . The door opens to a smiling face, who welcomes you with bright eyes . All the seniors residing there are all happy and contented . And have the same good lifestyle ,which they are use to living . Dr Mini and Amee , both take a thorough history and knowledge about the senior citizen
entering the premises from the relatives, so that every need of the person can be catered too , from medical history to choice of food . All festivals and birthdays are celebrated with gusto. I had the good fortune of attending Republic day with them. I’m happy to be associated with SAHABHAAV.. All the best to you

Team Sahabhaav genuinely care with kindness, decency and compassion! I cannot thank Dr Mini Panicker, Amee Shah and their brilliant team enough for looking after my mother so wonderfully for the last 5 months.

My mother is completely dependent and needs round the clock care. She was looked after at home for several years, but with advancing frailty, social isolation, and increasingly complex medical needs, we needed a team, with the right knowledge, resources, and compassionate approach. Now with the excellent care, my mother’s health has improved, her quality of life is better, and she is so much more alert. Her bed sores, which we thought would never heal, have all but disappeared.

Sahabhaav has a positive vibe of kindness, empathy and general cheerfulness. A place that is thoughtfully decorated, well maintained, well equipped for medical care, a comfortable home, where our parents can live with dignity. Before accepting to take on my mother’s care, Dr Mini and Amee, visited my mother at home, carefully went through her medical issues and care requirements to decide if they were able to meet her needs. As a doctor myself, I was impressed with the standard of their assessment and attention to detail and they were very respectful and considerate towards my mother.

I was at Sahabhaav almost every day for the first 3 weeks of my mother’s stay, to settle her in and thus had an opportunity to see for myself how excellent the day-to-day care is and how well this place is run. The staff were very happy to liaise with me, to understand my mother’s likes and dislikes and how best to meet her needs. Reassuringly, they quickly established links with various clinicians involved in my mother’s care. There is always enough staff around and everyone is very considerate and loving, to all residents. The team truly understand that residents, now in their twilight years, need to feel happy, secure, content, stimulated and treated with respect. They need to be listened to and their individual needs be met. There are a range of activities that help stimulate. They do love a good party and there are many celebrations! The wide variety of food is delicious and made fresh on site. Staff go over and beyond to ensure that individual taste is catered for and ensure that every individual has the right food and drink. I was really touched when they asked me the recipes of food my mother enjoys. The care is truly person centric.

I am also grateful for the team’s kindness and patience towards us, understanding fully well our trepidations and anxieties around the enormous step of placing one’s loved one in their care. Knowing my mother is now getting the best possible care, helps to ease that worry. We are in regular communication and Team Sahabhaav works in partnership with us around any decisions about our mother’s care. I cannot recommend Sahabhaav enough. The care is truly outstanding. I wish Team Sahabhaav ongoing success!

My mother in law (Amma) is 89 and was afflicted with Covid. She was in the ICU & Ward for 14 days. Within some weeks after her return home, she faced sodium and electrolyte imbalances and was again admitted in the ICU after she had convulsions.

She couldn’t walk, talk or carry out basic functions on her own. We were finding it extremely difficult to manage Amma by ourselves along with a 24-hour help.

That’s where *Sahabhaav* came in. It is a Geriatric facility for senior citizens in the heart of the city run by Dr. Mini Panicker, ably assisted by Ms. Amee Shah and a team of able Managers, Nurses and staff.

We got in touch with them and they were kind enough to visit our home to meet Amma, whereafter, they agreed to take in Amma at their facility.

What we witnessed in the next three weeks was like a miracle! Thanks to their expert assistance and ministrations, Amma today’s talks fluently; walks the length and breath of our flat and is in the best of spirits and mental acumen.

Mini and Amee are great people. The beauty is that the facility is blessed with dedicated and sincere people, right up to the male assistants.

The facility functions like a mini Hospital with basic tests undertaken within the premises itself.

They do have broad rules but each individual is treated based on their needs and requirements. Amma is South Indian and a vegetarian – she gets the food she likes including curd with each meal!!

Here, the seniors are treated as individuals with preferences & their likes and dislikes are noted.

They are indulged (and even pampered) with various activities and kept in good humour. For example, Amma is good with crochet, knitting and rangoli. Despite her advanced age, she was made to pursue these interests and supplied with the required material!

There are various entertainment options: seated yoga, games (drawing colouring, carrom – you name it!), prayers/aarathi, music, singers…the list goes on.

Here is a place where you leave your loved ones & be at peace that they are in very safe and good hands. In many ways, the facilities are equal or better than what we offer at home: Fowler beds, O2 supply, ECG, blood tests, Doctor visits, air conditioning & most important, a never ending group of affable, smiling and engaging staff keeping every member’s spirits up ensuring speedy return to good health, like we witnessed in Amma.

Kudos to Dr. Mini and her team & may God bless them to keep up the great work…

A HOME where are our loved ones live in dignity. The environment is full of luv & caring. One cannot find a better place. I am counting my blessings, my mother was the first to live there. The love given has added to her age. The staff is super efficient. The doctors are on call. The home is kept spotlessly clean. They are taken out on a car ride to different places of interest. Lastly the food is delicious, healthy & wholesome. It tops the list of Old Age Retirment Homes

Sahabhaav was the best decision we took when we were looking for a home and family for my father, a true Mumbaikar. His stay of little over a year at Sahabhaav was filled with warm affection, love, care and tremendous patience by each and every person from the Sahabhaav team.

Everyone at Sahabhhav was highly responsible and responsive. We found them to be very friendly … not just to all the senior citizens who stay at Sahabhaav, but also to the visiting friends and family.

The Sahabhaav facility was excellent. Most days at Sahabhaav were filled with several activities, starting with Yoga in the morning to drawing/painting/games in the afternoon. They also celebrated most festivals and holidays, as well as everyone’s birthdays. The Sahabhaav team would take photos and videos of my father participating in these activities and share them with us almost daily.

Dad was very picky and selective about his food. The Sahabhaav team took the effort to understand his likes, dislikes and preferences, and tried to offer him variety that would keep him happy.

Perhaps the most challenging situation we faced during my dad’s stay at Sahabhaav was when he was hospitalised for Covid. When he returned from hospital, he was very disoriented, and very fragile both mentally and physically. The Sahabhaav team worked tirelessly for weeks to bring him back to his cheerful self, as well as to take care of all of his physical ailments.

Overall, we could not have found a better home for Dad. We would like to thank the entire Sahabhaav team for everything they have done for Dad and us!

Dear Team Sahabhaav
My heartfelt thanks to each one of you for giving a beautiful home to my father for the last 2 years of his life. Selfless service and caring nature by each one of you filled his days with joy.
He was almost wheel chair bound for last 2 years but he went on so many outings with you guys.
Being a foodie he enjoyed his meals which were varied and thoughtfully crafted .
The last 6 months of his life he was going through several ups and downs with his health ,but you guys gave him the best and prompt medical assistance.
Thanks so much team ,forever indebted to you all.

We found this gem of a place for my Dad to stay in when we had to move out of Mumbai for work. we did a lot of research in finding the right place and also visited quite a few assisted living facilities. Sahabhaav clearly stood out much above the rest. We wanted him to be comfortable, get all facilities as at home and also company of people of his age. We could see all this in action at Sahabhaav. This is a premium facility with well appointed rooms, good space for activities for the occupants, highly motivated and trained staff and all facilities that one can hope for.
My father had a very good time at Sahabhaav. he was appreciative of the team led by Dr Mini, Amee, Neelam, Jasleen. During Covid times as well when he needed to be hospitalised the team was quick enough to take fast actions and got him treated very well. They have all in house facilities and medical care that is required. We strongly recommend Sahabhaav for any one who is looking for a great place for their Parents.
