The inpainting process works by first guessing a good value to fill in the region. This is typically achieved by computing the mean of the whole image using a few parameters which include the image distance.
Once the value is guessed it is filled by extrapolating it in multiple directions. These extrapolated values are combined to get the final result. In addition, it uses several different techniques to adjust the colour and luminance of the background to make the final result look visually plausible.
This is all done by using a fixed set of procedures that generate multiple different candidates.

How does it work:
This software is programmed to run in a single thread. This gives it the ability to make use of some of the newest features of Java.
1. Inpainting with Hessian Matrix. The inpainting process first uses a matrix to compute the values that will fill the missing regions. 6. Up-sampling. Finally, the image is up-sampled to the original image dimensions.
